About the Role
St Martin’s, a fully accredited high-care aged care home at Taigum, is seeking a full time Clinical Nurse to help care for our residents.
We are seeking a highly motivated Level 2 Registered Nurse with a passion for aged care to support the Director of Nursing in maintaining a high standard of care for our 102 residents.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading, coordinating, coaching and providing a high level of clinical advice and education to a well established and dedicated team of Nurses and Assistant Nurses. Your leadership role will include performance review and development.
Other key elements include coordinating residents’ admissions, assessing residents’ needs, hands-on delivery of clinical care when required and ensuring care documentation is maintained.
You will have exprience in and a passion for Aged Care, sound leadership ability, excellent clinical skills, high level of communication and computer skills and a solid understanding of accreditation standards.
This role requires you to participate in an on-call roster.
You must be a Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
You are required to hold and maintain a suitable National Police Certificate at your expense or be eligible to receive one prior to commencing employment.
